Hello, my lovely Rose Garden!!!
How have you been? Did you miss me? I have missed you!! So, let's do a quick recap and then I will jump right on in. I have closed down the retail side of The Chandler's Rose. From now on any soaps or bath and body creations will be solely to test out any of my new blends. I didn't shut down because of lack of sales. I closed because I saw that I could make more money consulting for other businesses. Every 10 minutes there is someone new opening up a bath and body business. Their fragrance list is the same as those who are already established. I am here to create for those who want to be different from the rest.

This is one of my masculine blends. I am currently working on photography and learning how to best capture natural light. There are many drag marks and bubbles on the soaps which I don't mind. I need the testers to warp and do whatever they might potentially do to another soapmaker so I can warn them.

I used Titanium Dioxide (water soluble), Black Star Dust mica and Royal Blue Mica from The Chemistry Store. The not quite white portions are the Royal Blue Mica portions. As you can see this particular blend will cause hella discoloration.
This next one was supposed to be Brick Red and Black with Smoky Gray.

As you can see I didn't quite achieve what I had intended to. I still like the tops.

Looks like two black frog faces to me. LOL
These last soaps are my sweet smelling blend. It can be very Unisex depending on the wearer's own pheromones and sweat.
As you can tell from the picture below this blend can cause the soap to crumble something terrible if the super fat is below 7%.
This is a really crisp shot.

This one is my favorite shot. It looks so clean.

Okay, now I have finally uploaded pictures of my soapy adventures for the past month I will move on to fragrance reviews.
Blood Orange EO (Wandering Thistle Studio - Theresa Méndez) - Awesome EO, very strong OOB and sticks in soap. You can use this as an anchor for Tangerine EO or for Sweet Orange EO (though I would use a 2:1 Sweet Orange and Lemongrass EOs). No discoloration and no acceleration.
Linden Blossom FO (Bramble Berry) - A very strong scent. OOB it doesn't seem that strong but if you soap it with citrus EOs Linden Blossom will overtake them during saponification and after. No acceleration or discoloration.
Cinnamon Leaf EO (Soap Making Resource) - A horrid EO. I cannot state with an confidence that this wasn't cut with Cassia. It outright stinks. I even attempted to blend it with Blood Orange EO, Patchouli EO and Vanilla FO and at a 3:2:2:0.5 blend with the Cinnamon as the 0.5. I am not bashing the company but I am giving an honest review of their Cinnamon Leaf.
Summer Breeze -KY- (Rustic Essentials) - A clean fun fragrance. Close to a Clean Linen FO with a hint of sweet. No Acceleration or Discoloration
Jade (Candle Pro.com) - Very strong OOB and will overtake your soap if not used sparingly. A sharp floral perfume-y FO. I like it. Blends well with Lettuce and Moonlight Pomegranate from Bramble Berry. No A or D.
Okay so this post has run a little long. I will post pictures from February's swap in the next post. Thanks and as always, post a comment below.
