Hello, Rose Garden!!
Happy to see you again. I actually am making my second post for the month. I might just be on a roll. LOL. I am going to take you from start to finish my process for making soap. Below I have:
The Chemistry Store Green Lake D & C Dye - for most soaps will go from green to sandy tan and then back to green. Other times the green will turn purple and stay purple.
Next I have Rustic Escentuals Deep Ocean Blue Mica. This is my first time using it and I am very pleased with the fact that it stays pretty true to the color whether or not the batter is gelled.
Last is Ultramarine Blue from Maple Street Supplies. This was sent to me by my bestie in the whole widest world!! I like how it soaped and didn't thicken my batter.
This is wet soap. If you look at the bottom of the piping you will see a darker blue. That is the Deep Ocean Blue. The top sea green color is the Green Lake.
I am learning how to perfectly place embeds on the top. I was able to get them looking really cool in the top to not to disturb the "waves" that I was trying to create and make sure that the beauty of the shells are seen as well.
Here is a great shot of the soap the next day. The soap looks great and I love the soap in natural lighting.
These pictures show the shimmer on them. I added some bio-degradable glitter to the top of the soap to make it look like the shimmery waves when the sunlight hits the waves just right.
Next are the cut soaps. I love them.
I hope that you have enjoyed looking at the cut soaps and wet soap pictures. I love my soaps and am really excited that the piping and soap pouring. Leave a comment or a question below and I will be sure to answer. If you want to know how to get them make sure to check the website :
