Happy Belated New Year!!

How are you? How is the new year treating you? Can you believe we are in the middle of the 1st Quarter? This year is passing by quickly as well. Tell me in the Comments below about your New Year's goals and how life treating you. I have added some new features and have gone back to having a website. I am currently working on finishing a wholesale order. A company out in California ordered Dessert: Iced Lemon Pound Cake and Orange Pineapple Crush, Unscented, Lemongrass, Oatmeal Milk & Honey, Lavender, and Manly Man. I will post pictures of a few of the batches below. 

This quarter I am also back to offering Mixology courses, consultations, and blending suggestions. For the past 12 years I have worked my business part-time. This year I am moving to full-time.  You can now find my content on YouTube, Instagram, and Tik Tok. With every new batch of soap I am going to make a post here so I will definitely posting more. One of my soapmaking friends has asked that I go back to holding soap challenges. So that will also be a new monthly post. You still start seeing more of me. Yay!!

Below is Dessert: Iced Lemon Pound Cake on the night it was soaped and then 6 days after it was soaped. You can see how quickly it will darken. This recipe has only one oil with vanillin and the content of the that overall is 3% of the entire batch.

I designed the fragrance around the Lemon Loaf from Starbucks. I had gotten to a point where I was eating a slice a day and that was not good for me so I had to come up with a "healthy" way to enjoy it. LOL So here it is. I absolutely love it in a body icing. 

One of my goals from 2022 that I never got a chance to accomplish was to soap my Monster Mash line. This year I have made 2. The first one was Bride of the Monster and the second is Lycan. Below is Lycan. Bride of the Monster is already cut and drying. Lycan will be cut this weekend and then set out to dry for weeks. More pictures will follow as I get each of the monthly subscription box scents soaped and ready.

I have 12 more of the current Monster Mash to soap and then I have 7 other Monster Mash fragrance ideas to test out and then soap. Each month's box will contain one 5 ounce soap, one 2 ounce dry body oil, one 8 ounce lotion, and 2 bath cookies. As the months get closer to Halloween there will be more vintage horror items included in each box but more to come on that in June. That is all I have for now.
