More Pirate's Cove Soaps; Ready on 06/15

 Hello, Rose Garden.

How have you been? I am doing well. So, I made soap embeds for this month's soaping adventures and they did NOT come out well at all. So, I invested in MP base and remade most of them. So, below are my pictures of some of the embeds and the soap a few of them went into.

As you all may remember my Pirate's Cove line is inspired by Pirates Of the Caribbean. The soap below was originally named Barbosa's Apple but I didn't want to tangle with "The Ears" so I changed it to Spanish Apple.

I made apple scented jewels of different colors and apples as embeds and then dusted the top of the soap loaf with 24 karat gold mica since he was more interested in gold than actually being a pirate. Well, aren't most pirates concerned mainly with gold and treasure? Anyhoo, I thought it was a nice touch.

The soap itself smells fresh, airy, and has a tinge of tartness from the Granny Smith. I balanced all of this with the soft powdery floral notes of Spanish Rosemary essential oil. This one did fight me a bit. The red and green portions of the soap batter accelerated on me but the blue (read: ocean) portion was smooth sailing. Eh? Eh? *eye waggle* Get it? Heee!!! If you cannot tell, I am happy about bringing this one back after a long hiatus.

I also made another batch of High Seas. I only have one bar of this one left so I went ahead and popped this in the soapy cauldron. Always a pleasant blend to make into a soap. I really have to pat myself on the back for this one.

I don't make embeds for this one because I don't believe that it needs any. The same can be said for Caribbean Wedding, Mermaid's Tears, Parley, and Rum Runner. In the future if I can find some cute oak barrel molds, I may add them to the tops of the Rum Runner bars. That is all that I have for now. More soaps will be made this weekend so I will update later. As always leave a comment or question below.
